Stop Accepting Your Anxiety

I’m no stranger to anxiety and depression. It comes out in two forms for me: anger and/or emotional eating. Mental health is something that gets skirted around in Christianity because we know Jesus is the healer of all things - but that doesn’t mean we can’t struggle. That doesn’t mean it’s not hard sometimes.
We go to Galatians, Colossians, 1 Peter, Philippians, and Romans today for a biblical perspective on anxiety. God is a God of peace, hope, and comfort. He can be trusted and we can learn how to let go but it takes an active obedience to His sanctification process.
